COFEPRIS announces measures to simplify health procedures

On March 27, 2025, the Ministry of Health published an agreement in the Official Gazette of the Federation to simplify procedures related to health regulation and control.

Eliminating six requirements and simplifying procedures from 12 to four:

1. Notice of operation and health manager of health supply establishments (COFEPRIS -05-006-A, B, C, D, E), to a single procedure.

2. Notification of modification or cancellation of the notification of operation and/or health officer of the health supplies establishment (COFEPRIS-05-006-A, B, C, D, and E), to a single procedure.

3. Notice of operation and health manager of the environmental health establishment, with no changes but with a reduction in regulatory burden.

4. Notice of modification or cancellation of the operating notice and/or responsible person, with no changes, but with a reduction in the regulatory burden.
